HOW TO FIND US:

From the North

Leave M6 at junction 44 heading west through Carlisle and onto the A596. Continue via Wigton (by pass), Aspatria, Crosby, Birkby. The Retreat is a black and white building on the left hand side of the road.

From the South

Exit 40 off the M6 motorway at Penrith and follow the A66 west for approx. ½ hour (bypassing Keswick and Bassenthwaite Lake). At the second Cockermouth roundabout follow directions for Maryport on the A594. Turn right at the traffic lights in Maryport and follow A596 for approx. 2 miles. Birkby is on the right hand side of the road with a large green in front.
